Frizzy, split ends, damaged, greasy . . . definitely not the adjectives you want to use when describing your hair. As your bridal stylist - there’s only so much hairspray & product we can use to make your hair look stunning on your wedding day. Moral of the story?

There are some easy things you can do to keep your hair healthy & happy for your wedding day ( that you should probably use in your everyday routine too).

Hair Masks

Hair Masks!! I cannot tell you how great your hair will feel when you rinse out that mask! There are lots of great options out there & a variety of masks that target different problems. Frizz, dryness, colour care, breakage etc. If you’re not sure where to start? Go for a hydrating mask! Aim to do a hair mask once a week.

Heat Protectant

I can’t say it louder. Use heat protectant! If you use hot tools - use heat protectant. Especially if you have coloured hair, it will help the longevity of your colour. Just a quick spray when you get out of the shower & your hair will thank you.

Hair Oil

If you want soft and shiny hair - this is a must! A hair oil will also help fight against breakage & keep your hair hydrated. Pro Tip: mix a couple drops into your next hair mask for super soft hair.

Ditch The Elastics & High Buns / Ponytails

Hair elastics are very hard on your hair and often cause serious breakage. Pair this with a high bun or pony and you will often get a ring of breakage around your crown. These little pieces are stubborn and can be very tricky to hide. Opt for a silk scrunchie & a low pony instead.

One of the biggest factors - time & consistency. Add these simple tips to your routine ASAP and you will start to notice results in no time!
